Problem: I have a system with Windows 2000 and Internet Explorer 5. My NI-WLS/ENET-9163 works on other systems with a different version of Internet Explorer, but not on this one. How can I connect to my device? Solution: Win2k installs with IE5. That includes an old version of wininet that does not support all the SSL flags that the WLS/ENET-9163 requires. The NI WLS/ENET-9163 devices cannot be configured on systems with Internet Explorer 5. Update your version of Internet Explorer to version 6.0 or later.
