DIAdem NAVIGATOR

In the new DIAdem NAVIGATOR panel you can navigate through your data storage. The tree view displays which data you can load. With DIAdem NAVIGATOR you load and save data sets from different sources, for example, from data files and databases.
DIAdem saves data in a new format with the filename extension TDM. The TDM file contains the channel groups and the definable properties of the data.
DIAdem 9.0 can read data that are written by NI VI Logger 1.1, NI Lookout, and NI LabVIEW 7.
You can define filters to view specific data in DIAdem NAVIGATOR.

Data Portal

In DIAdem NAVIGATOR you load data with drag-and-drop into the new Data Portal. You can drag and drop data channels from the Data Portal and insert them into files, layouts, or calculations.
The Data Portal has the familiar list view and a new structure view. In the structure view you manage your channels in groups. In the properties window you view and edit the freely definable properties of your data. You can add new properties.
DIAdem 9 can read and write text channels. You can create channels with text to display, for example, text in tables.

DIAdem VIEW

The channel tables for displaying the channel contents are new. In the channel tables you can edit, delete, and generate data. Channel tables also display text channels.
In DIAdem VIEW you can configure a worksheet. You can combine any number of channel tables with axis systems and resize them.
Creating multi-page layouts in DIAdem VIEW is new. You can change the order of the pages and label the worksheets. DIAdem saves VIEW layouts in a new format with the filename extension TDV.
You can print out each worksheet separately or several worksheets at the same time.

DIAdem REPORT

The "n Systems" 2D axis display mode is new. This display mode shows each curve in a separate partial axis system. Proportional scaling of the y-axis in a 2D axis system also is new.
In DIAdem 9.0 all graphics objects in a report have a background color. The default background color is transparent.
You can move the graphics objects of a report to the foreground or to the background.

DIAdem SCRIPT

The Wizard for creating user dialog boxes in DIAdem SCRIPT is new. The Wizard loads a prepared dialog box definition into the dialog editor for further editing.
DIAdem 9.0 has new functions for reading, editing, and writing text files and for creating and editing worksheets in DIAdem REPORT. DIAdem 9.0 also offers functions for creating and for editing objects in DIAdem VIEW according to the new object hierarchy. You use the new commands DataFileImport and DataFileExport to load and to save data files.

DIAdem DAC

In DIAdem 9.0 DIAdem DAC supports user functions that DIAdem carries out automatically before or after the measurement. You also can use the simulation block "Function generator" in the interrupt mode. The new NI DIAdem CAN driver supports data acquisition using CAN with NI hardware in connection with the NI CAN 2.1 driver.

LabVIEW Integration

If NI LabVIEW is installed, you can start LabVIEW by clicking the symbol on the DIAdem panel bar.
