Do the Measurement Studio UI Controls Allow for Text in Non-Latin Alphabets or Languages Other Than English? Primary Software: Measurement StudioPrimary Software Version: N/A Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: Is it possible to display the text on my Measurement Studio UI Control in a Windows-supported non-Latin alphabet? Solution: In order for a control to support other alphabets and non-English languages, it must also support Unicode. The Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET controls support Unicode and therefore will allow any alphabet supported by Windows to be displayed in the control texts. If you purchased the Professional or Enterprise Edition of Measurement Studio, you also have the ActiveX UI controls that are used primarily in Visual Studio 6.0. These ActiveX controls do not support Unicode, and therefore will not properly display non-Latin alphabets or languages other than English. Related Links: Attachments:
