Problem:
How do I know which version of the LabVIEW run-time engine I have installed on my PC?

Solution:
There are two easy methods to find which version of the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine is loaded on a PC.

Method 1: Measurement & Automation
  1. Open Measurement & Automation, found under
    Start»All Programs»National Instruments»Measurement & Automation
  2. Expand the My System tree under Configuration
  3. Expand the Software tree
  4. This tree contains all LabVIEW Run-Time Engine versions installed on the PC.


Method 2: Windows Explorer
  1. Navigate to <Program Files>\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time.
  2. This folder contains all LabVIEW Run-Time Engine versions installed on the PC.
