LabVIEW SignalExpress Data Logging Issues.

Problem:
When I log data in LabVIEW SignalExpress the first data log is created fine. When I try and make a second data log LabVIEW SignalExpress reports an error.  What can I do to log more than one file in a LabVIEW SignalExpress Project?

Solution:
There are two reasons that LabVIEW SignalExpress would only allow for a single log to be created in a project.  Please check for either of these conditions:
  • LabVIEW SignalExpress will only allow for a single log to be made when it is operating in Limited Edition mode.  To correct the issue, LabVIEW SignalExpress should be activated as a Full Version.  This requires a serial number, for either LabVIEW SignalExpress Full Edition or LabVIEW Full or Profesional Development System. Please see the knowledge base below for further instructions on activating LabVIEW SignalExpress Full Edition.
  • If LabVIEW SignalExpress is activated as Full Edition, and you still can only create a single log please see if you have Sound and Vibration Assistant activated.  If you have a serial number make sure it is activated for Full Edition.  If it is activated for Limited Edition you can activate for full edition or deactivate it to allow LabVIEW SignalExpress to log multiple files. The Sound and Vibration Assistant sits on top of the LabVIEW SignalExpress architecture, and forces the base architecture to reflect the behaviour of the Sound and Vibration Assistant. Activating the product, or deactivating it will allow LabVIEW SignalExpress to have multiple logs in one project.
