No Refresh when Cursor Events are Processed in DIAdem VIEW

Primary Software: DIAdem
Primary Software Version: 10.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: DIAdem

Problem: The VIEW Cursor event is used to modify the data in channels and to display the data in a 2D axis system. Due to the high access speed, DIAdem uses the CHDX function to modify the data. However, the data displayed in the 2D axis system is not the actual modified data.

Solution:

To access channel values faster with the CHDX function, DIAdem does not automatically refresh the channel values for this function. The characteristic channel values indicate to DIAdem whether the displays in VIEW are to be refreshed.
Therefore, at least one channel value per channel must be generated with the CHD function, in order for the characteristic channel values to be calculated.
Alternatively, you can use the CHNCHARACTER command to recalculate the characteristic channel values, after all the channel values have been modified.
