Problem: If the confirmation of an alert fails, then NI-FBUS does not re-try in all conditions, and the alert can be left there without confimation. Also, if the device re-uses an event number in an alert, then the NI-FBUS might regard the new alert as a re-transmission of the old alert. Therefore, the event number is not the only parameter to check to see if an alert is new. The alert state or a timestamp should be used to identify the alert (a confirmed alert should not have re-transmission). How can I fix these problems?
