Which Versions of the SQL Toolkit Work with LabVIEW 5.0?

Problem: Which versions of the SQL Toolkit work with LabVIEW 5.0?

Solution: SQL Toolkit versions 1.1.4 and 2.0 have been successfully tested with LabVIEW 5.0. SQL Toolkit version 5.0 contains bug fixes for some small problems that the SQL Toolkit version 2.0 had.

SQL Toolkit Version 5.0
You may use SQL Toolkit version 5.0 with LabVIEW 5.0 normally.

SQL Toolkit Versions Prior to 5.0
For earlier versions of the SQL Toolkit, you will need to install the Toolkit and then Mass Compile the SQL Toolkit VIs:
  1. In LabVIEW, go to File » Mass Compile to launch the Mass Compile dialog window.
  2. Navigate to the <LabVIEW Directory>\vi.lib\addon\sql folder.
  3. Select this directory (Sel Cur Dir button) to mass compile.
  4. After the VIs compile, navigate to the <LabVIEW Directory>\examples\sql folder.
  5. Select this directory (Sel Cur Dir button) to mass compile.
  6. After the VIs compile, press the Cancel button to exit the Mass Compile dialog window.
Note: The SQL Toolkit has been replaced with the Database Connectivity Toolset in later versions of LabVIEW. Visit the Upgrade Advisor (linked below) for upgrade information.
