How to Use a National Instruments DAQ Device with DASYLabPrimary Software: Other NI Software>>DASYLabPrimary Software Version: 6.00.03 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When I try to place a module in the DASYLab worksheet, I get this error message Another module of this type is not supported by the hardware. Solution: DASYLab only allows you to place modules for hardware actually available in your system. If you already have placed an Analog Input module with 16 channel and your hardware supports just 16 channels, you cannot place more analog input modules in the worksheet. If you get the error message when you don’t have any modules in the worksheet, DASYLab may not have recognized the hardware because DASYLab will not see any NI devices when Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) is open while DASYLab is running. If this is the case, close both DASYLab and MAX and then restart DASYLab. Keep in mind that you must run MAX each time you change your hardware and verify that all installed devices are listed and working under Devices and Interfaces before starting DASYLab . Close MAX, and start DASYLab. If you still do not see your hardware at this point, you may need to contact technical support at National Instruments for further troubleshooting.
