How Much Current Does The SCXI-1000DC Chassis Draw?
Hardware: SCXI>>Chassis>>SCXI-1000DC
Problem: What is the average current that the SCXI-1000DC Chassis draws? What about the current drawn when the SCXI-1600 and SCXI-1129 modules are inserted as well?
Solution: Please see below for current draw:
- SCXI-1000DC with no modules in it = current spike of about 1.5-2A, but quickly goes to a steady .63A drawn.
- SCXI-1000DC with the 1600 module = current spike, then average of 1.06A. This was measured without the 1600 being disconnected from the computer.
- SCXI-1000DC with the 1600 & 1192 = current spike, then average of 1.23A. This was measured with the 1600 being disconnected from the computer, and the 1192 not having any connections.
