Open Thermocouple on one 5B47 Module Causes Voltage Change on Other Channels

Hardware: Signal Conditioning Other>>5B Series

Problem: I am using an AT-MIO-16E-1 with a 5B backplane, six 5B47 modules (not obtained from National Instruments) , and LabVIEW. When I scan all channels above 20k Scans/s, and one of the channels become open thermocouple, I see a change of 25-30 LSBs on the other channels.

Solution: The 5B47 modules were going to a higher output impedance when in open thermocouple state. You can overcome this problem by increasing the interchannel delay in AI Config.vi.
