Data from Vehicle Safety Tests in an MME Format (ISO-TS 13499)

Primary Software: DIAdem
Primary Software Version: 9.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: 9.1
Secondary Software: DIAdem

Problem: How can I save data from vehicle safety tests in an MME format (ISO-TS 13499)?

Solution: DIAdem has an export file filter with which you can save data in the format „Road vehicles - Multimedia data exchange format for impact tests, ISO TS 13499“. The abbreviation for the format is “MME”.

The file filter consists of a VBScript and a GPI extension for DIAdem. The two files „MMEExport.vbs“ and „MMEExport.dll“ are included in the following and must be copied to the DIAdem subfolder „Addinfo“. Then you have to register the DLL file as a GPI extension in the DIAdem menu under Settings / Desktop parameters / GPI –DLL registration…. Now the MME export is available in DIAdem. In the NAVIGATOR panel, you can drag and drop the contents of the Data Portal into the external data area and save the data in the MME format.

The „MMEExport.vbs“ script describes the actual export procedure. If necessary, you can modify the script. The script reads out data and properties in the same way that they were stored in DIAdem with a DataPlugin during MME import. You can find the download page for DataPlugins under the following links. The properties of the test are at the Data Portal root. Each test object must have a channel group. The properties of the test objects are in the channel group. The data channels are assigned to the test objects and have additional properties.

If you want to try an MME export, load the accompanying data set and save the data set in MME format.
