IBM PC Power Up Failure After PCIe GPIB InstallationHardware: GPIB>>Plug-in Controllers>>PCIe-GPIB
Problem: I am trying to use a PCI Express GPIB card in my IBM Thinkcentre computer, but after installing the card, the system does not power on. After removing the card , the system works fine and booted up properly. How can I resolve this problem? Solution: Some IBM Thinkcentre PCs need to have their BIOS upgraded in order to recognize PCI express cards. This upgrade can be found at the link below and is free to download. After installing this upgrade, the card should work fine. The upgrade available is specific to the model numbers listed on the download page.
