3rd and 4th Nelson Rules in the CVI SPC Toolkit do not Behave as Documented

Problem: The 3rd and 4th Nelson Rules in the CVI SPC toolkit do not work as expected. What should I do to fix this?

Solution:
The source for the SPC toolkit is included in the same folder that contains the SPC instrument, under ..\National Instruments\CVI\spc\spc.c. Please contact support to obtain an updated version of the spc.c file.

Once you obtain the file, to use it, backup the existing spc.c file under ..\National Instruments\CVI\spc and copy over the provided file. Then in a project with the SPC instrument loaded, go to Instrument >> Edit.. , select the Statistical Process Control from the list and hit "Attach and Edit Source". This should compile the new source for use in your project.
