Problem: How do I assign an IP address to my Real-Time target programmatically? Solution: The Real-Time (RT) System Replication Tools provide a set of VIs that allow you to programmatically configure your Real-Time target, including assigning an IP address. After installing the tools, right-click the block diagram and use User Libraries»RT System Replication»Set IP Address.vi to set the IP Address based on the target's MAC Address. An example of programmatically assigning IP Addresses to unconfigured targets can be found here: Developer Zone Community: Programmatically Assigning IP Addresses to Real-Time Targets.
