Why Can't I Control a Specific Digital Line from the Internal Screw Terminal Block Inside My SC-2345?Hardware: SCC>>Carriers>>SC-2345
Problem: I am trying to apply a digital signal to a pin at the screw terminal block inside my SC-2345. I can't seem to change the state of this pin with my digital signal. I am able to control all of the others lines with the same signal. What could be wrong? Solution: The SC-2345 is designed to route the digital lines to either the screw terminal block inside the box OR to a specific digital module located between J9 and J16. Therefore, if you have a digital module installed, such as an SCC-DI01 or SCC-DO01, you will not be able to use the corresponding digital line from the screw terminal block. If you have a digital module that is installed, but is not in use, you can configure your system so that you can access the digital lines through the screw terminal block. To do this, go to Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) and right-click on the data acquisition (DAQ) device that you have the SC-2345 connected to. Select Properties and go into the Accessory tab. Select SC-2345 from the drop-down list and click Configure. If you previously configured your system here, then all of your modules will appear in their respective slots. Select the digital module that will not be used and click Remove. This will allow the digital lines to be routed to the screw terminal block instead of this module.
