Letter of Volatility for Analog Output Devices

Hardware: Signal Sources (AWG/FG/AO)>>Analog Output Devices

Problem:
I need official National Instruments confirmation that sensitive data passing through your Analog Output products will be erased when the device loses power.

Solution:

Here is a list of the information on our Analog Output products. The list below contains the types of memory in each device, the amount, and whether or not the information stored in that memory is retained. Volatile memory loses its contents when the device is powered off while nonvolatile memory retains its contents when the device is powered off.

PXI/PCI-6733 and PXI/PCI-6713 Devices

The PCI-6731 and the PXI/PCI-6733 also have a 2 x 2 KB SRAM FIFO which is user accesible and volatile.

PCI-6703 and PXI/PCI-6704 Devices
