Why Does the "GPIB Interfaces Sequentially Verified" Step Fail in the GPIB Troubleshooting Wizard?Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-488.2Primary Software Version: 1.6 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: GPIB
Problem: My GPIB board seems to be properly installed and configured, but the card fails the step "GPIB interfaces sequentially verified" in the GPIB Troubleshooting Wizard (part of the GPIB Getting Started Wizard). Should I disconnect any instruments I have connected to the board? Solution: This test sometimes fails if there is an instrument connected to the GPIB board while the test is being performed. Disconnect the cable from the GPIB board and run the test again. If this does not solve the problem, there may be a problem with the installation of the board. Refer to the Installation Wizard (see the related link below) for installation instructions and tips.
