Why Is My SCXI Module Not Selectable In Calibration Executive?Primary Software: Calibration ExecutivePrimary Software Version: 3.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: 3.1 Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: SCXI>>Modules
Problem: I am trying to calibrate an SCXI module in Calibration Executive. I have configured the Calibration Procedure in the setup wizard, and when I try to choose the module while setting up the Device Identifier, I cannot select it in the drop-down box. I have set up my DAQ card and SCXI chassis in MAX. Why doesn't the module show up? Solution: Make sure to configure your SCXI chassis and modules under the Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) Devices folder rather than the NI-DAQmx Devices folder in MAX. If you only configure your chassis under NI-DAQmx Devices, Calibration Executive will not be able to see your SCXI module correctly because it addresses SCXI devices through the Traditional NI-DAQ chassis and module numbers from MAX. After reconfiguring your SCXI chassis as a Traditional NI-DAQ Device in MAX, re-launch Calibration Executive and set up your Calibration Procedure. When you are prompted for the Device Identifier, the SCXI module should now appear in the drop-down box. See the Measurement & Automation Explorer Help for instructions on how to configure an SCXI chassis in Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy). Related Links: Product Page: NI Calibration Executive Attachments:
