What Modules Are Onboard the Single Board RIO and How Do They Differ From C-Series Modules?Hardware: CompactRIO>>Controllers>>cRIO-9074
Problem: I know the sbRIO includes modules for different forms of input and output. How do these modules correlate to the different sbRIO models, and how do they differ from their c-series counterparts? Solution: The input and output associated with each sbRIO model can be closely equated to a C-series module. The following table shows what sbRIO model includes which C-series module(s).
There are however, differences between the input and output modules onboard the sbRIO, and the C-series modules they equate to. The following table lists the changes made to the modules onboard the sbRIO from the standard C-series modules.
Note that every sbRIO model contains 110 digital input and output lines. The input and output modules listed above are in addition to these basic DIO lines. The sbRIO 964x contains the NI 9476 with significantly different current output specifications and supply voltage range. Refer to the sbRIO User Manual for detailed current and voltage specifications.
