How Can I Create Signed VIs Using LabVIEW Player If I Do Not Have LabVIEW 7.0 On My Windows Machine?

Problem: How Can I Create Signed VIs Using LabVIEW Player If I Do Not Have LabVIEW 7.0 On My Windows Machine?

Solution: In order to sign VIs using the LabVIEW Player, you must have LabVIEW Professional Development System 7.0 and install the free LabVIEW Player VI Creation Toolkit.

The LabVIEW Player VI Creation Toolkit will not install on the LabVIEW Express 7.0 Evaluation Demo.

There is no LabVIEW Player VI Creation Toolkit for LabVIEW 7.1 currently.

Note that the LabVIEW Player for Windows currently works with signed VIs from LabVIEW version 6.0.x and 7.0. It was not possible to create signed VIs in LabVIEW 6.1, since there were no signing tools for LabVIEW 6.1. The LabVIEW Player for Mac OS works with signed VIs from LabVIEW version 6.0.
