Visual Studio 2005 Support in TestStand 3.5

Problem: When I try to click the Source Code tab in the Specify Module dialog box for a .NET step type in TestStand I get an error saying I need to have Measurement Studio 7.1, or later, and Visual Studio 2003 installed. What level of support is there in TestStand for Visual Studio .NET 2005?

Solution: TestStand 3.5 does not provide support for Visual Studio 2005 code generation or code editing. TestStand was released prior to Visual Studio 2005 and was built to work with Visual Studio .NET 2003. You can currently only use VS2005 Assemblies in TestStand 3.5.
