Problem: I downloaded the LabVIEW instrument driver for XT series power supplies from the National Instruments web site. When I try to run the Getting Started Example VI, I receive error -1073807339. How can I resolve this?Solution: National Instruments has an instrument driver on its web site for Xantrex XFR, XHR, XPD, HPD, and XT models equipped with either their GPIB-M or CANbus interface card. The 'M' specifies that it is their multichannel interface card. NI also has an instrument driver for Xantrex HPD and XT models with a regular GPIB interface card. Note that the command sets are completely different for these two different interfaces and therefore the drivers are not interchangeable. This error is caused by sending unknown device commands to your instrument. Check your Xantrex product manual and then click on the appropriate link below to make sure you have downloaded the correct instrument driver.
