Finite Generation with RFSG Results in Multiple Instances of WaveformHardware: Modular Instruments>>RF Measurement Devices>>PXI-5670, Modular Instruments>>RF Measurement Devices>>PXI-5671
Problem: I am using NI-RFSG and scripting to perform a finite generation with my Vector Signal Generator. The Resample and Write VI is used to write my waveform to the arbitrary Waveform generator. The generation is working correctly except that my waveform is being generated multiple times before generation it stops. Why is this happening and how can I stop it? Solution: By default, the Resample and Write VI will repeat the waveform in order to reduce I/Q rate error introduced when the resample waveform size is coerced to a multiple of the quantum. ![]() Figure 1: Force Single Waveform During Resample In order to keep this replication from happening you need to wire a false constant to the repeat waveform until tolerance met input on the Resample and Write VI.
