How to store single values calculated by DASYLab

Primary Software: Other NI Software>>DASYLab
Primary Software Version: 6.00.03
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: My DASYLab worksheet calculates different values during the measurement and I set some strings with special comments. Is it possible to save these information in the same file as the measurement data?

Solution: No, you cannot mix computed variables and strings with running data because the content of strings and variables can only be written in the file header which is created at the start of the experiment. To store the content of global strings and variables which are changed during the measurement, you have to create an additional file using the Action module. The String save (file) or String write area (file) actions create ASCII files with the content of the variables or strings. You have to select the number of strings or variables and the file name.
