Problem: I would like to use my IVI-COM driver in LabVIEW SignalExpress, but when I try to select the driver in SignalExpress 1.1.1 or below I get a File not Found error. In SignalExpress 1.2 and above my IVI-COM drivers are not listed. Why does this happen?Solution: IVI-COM drivers are not currently supported in LabVIEW SignalExpress. This is why you get the File not Found error in SignalExpress 1.1.1 or below. For the same reason, the IVI-COM drivers are filtered out as selectable options in SignalExpress 1.2 and above.As an alternative, consider using ActiveX in a LabVIEW program to access your IVI-COM driver. You can open up an automation reference to your IVI-COM driver with ActiveX and use methods and properties to utilize the driver. Then, you can import this LabVIEW VI as a custom user step into LabVIEW SignalExpress (see related link).
