Can I Use Virtual Channels in Virtual Bench - Scope?Primary Software: Other NI Software>>VirtualBenchPrimary Software Version: 2.7 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I have set up virtual channels in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) that I would like to use in Virtual Bench - Scope. Is this possible and how would I do it? Solution: Virtual Bench, including Virtual Bench Logger and Virtual Bench Scope, do not support virtual channels. Virtual Bench Scope will only read from numbered channels set up within the program. Depending on your requirements, it might be easier and more practical to use the shipping examples that come with LabVIEW that exhibit oscilloscope behavior. Also, if you would like something that closely emulates scopes, you might want to look into some of the scope cards National Instruments produces. With these cards, National Instruments produces soft front panels (similar to the user interface of Virtual Bench - Scope), that have many settings that emulate scope functionality.
