PXI-1045 Trigger Routing Module Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Chassis>>PXI-1045
Problem: I have an application running in my PXI-1045 chassis and I am trying to move the controller into a new PXI-1045 chassis. Why is my hardware install now creating a "Trigger Routing Module in Slot 8 Missing" error? Solution: There is a difference in the hardware for revision F of the PXI-1045. We implemented changes on the backplane of Revision F which incorporates the bridge module assemblies and it also uses a different bridge. In order to support this change, the latest version of the driver CD (August 2007) is recommended. The install of the PXI Platform Services will resolve this issue, so you do not have to reinstall all of the drivers. Using the most updated drivers, however, is good general practice.
