Why Does My USB-6009 Shut Down After A Period of Time? Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-6008
Problem: My USB-6009 runs great for a period of time (0-12Hrs), and then turns off. I can unplug and plug back in the 6009 and then it works perfectly again. Note: I am using the +5V line output to power another instrument. Solution: The third party instrument using the +5V line from the USB-6009 is drawing too much power or current. The USB-6009 is specified to give 5V up to 200mA. Give the third party instrument its own power supply and the USB-6009 will stop shutting down. Related Links: Attachments:
