Inconsistent Temperature Readings Between Multiple Channels In NI-DAQmx Tasks

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQmx
Primary Software Version: 8.0.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Hardware: SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1102, SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1112, SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1125, SCC>>Modules>>SCC-TC01, SCC>>Modules>>SCC-TC02

Problem:
I created a DAQmx Temperature task to take readings from multiple thermocouple channels. On the Thermocouple Setup screen, I set the Thermocouple Type according to my sensor, as seen in the following image:

To test this, I measure the same temperature source with each my channels. Despite this, I only get accurate readings from my first channel. The rest of the channels seem to detect the changes in temperature, but the scaling seems off. Is there a problem with the hardware?

Solution:
No, this is most likely a software issue. Although you have all of your channels added to your task, setting the Thermocouple Type in the task only applies to the channels you have highlighted in the left-hand window. It is possible that you set the Thermocouple Type only for your first channel since this is the only channel highlighted initially. You will need to select all of your channels by holding shift and left-clicking, set your Thermocouple Type, and then click Save (see the figure below).

If your hardware supports cold-junction compensation, you may be able to select the Built-In option for your CJC Source field in addition to your Thermocouple Type. See the KnowledgeBase referenced in the Related Links for NI Hardware that supports this feature.
