Data Logged To File using a Reference Trigger with SignalExpress Is CorruptedPrimary Software: LabVIEW Signal Express>>Development SystemPrimary Software Version: 1.1.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I logged data to file using a reference trigger in Signal Express 1.1.1. When I try to open the file in SignalExpress it says the file is corrupted. I opened the file in a text editor and it is missing all of the pretrigger samples. Why is this happening? Solution: SignalExpress 1.1.1 is not able to log pretrigger samples. This results in a mismatch between what the header of the data file says and the number of samples in the data file. You should still be able to open the file in a text editor. If you open the file in the text editor you will find that all of the pretrigger samples are missing. SignalExpress Patch_1.1.1.003 fixes this behavior.
