The NI PCI-6025E Digital Line Virtual Channels Return Error -10007 in MAX

Primary Software: Utility Software>>Measurement & Automation Explorer
Primary Software Version: 3.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQ, Driver Software>>NI-DAQmx
Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>E Series>>PXI-6025E, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>E Series>>PCI-6025E

Problem:
I created digital line and port virtual channels for the NI PCI-6025E (or AT-MIO-16DE-10) in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). My virtual channels for reading or writing to a port work fine in the Virtual Channel Test Panel. My virtual channels for reading or writing to a line in Ports PA, PB, or PC return Error -10007 occurred at Digital Group Config in the Virtual Channel Test Panel (lines in Port DIO do not return an error). Can I use Read from Line or Write to Line Virtual Channels whose lines are in Ports PA, PB, or PC in LabVIEW?

Solution:
Yes, you can use both Read from Line and Write to Line Virtual Channels whose lines are in Ports PA, PB, or PC in LabVIEW. To use these Virtual Channels, you must use DIO Port Config.vi not Digital Group Config.vi. Using Digital Group Config.vi returns Error -10007 just like the Virtual Channel Test Panel in MAX. This error is caused because the digital lines from the 8255 PPI (programmable peripheral interface), Ports PA, PB, and PC, cannot be individually configured (please refer to KnowledgeBase 041A1KNI linked below for more information).

Note: Read from Digital Line.vi and Write to Digital Line.vi do not return errors because they use DIO Port Config.vi.
