How do I change the display language in LabWindows/CVI under Windows XP?

Problem:
How can I change the display language in LabWindows/CVI under Windows XP operating system?


Solution:
LabWindows/CVI requires two things in order to update the displayed language.
First you must add a language as a Text Service and Input Langauge under the Languages tab of the Regional and Language Options menu. 
  • Go to Start » Control Panel » Regional and Langauges Options.
  • Select the Language tab and click on the Details button.
  • You can add the desired language from here, simply click Add and choose the desired langauge.
Second, the desired language must be selected under the Advanced tab for the Language for non-Unicode Programs.
  • In the Regional and Langagues Options menu, click on the Advanced tab.
  • You must choose the langauge you added in the prior from the drop down menu and apply your changes.

Once you have completed these two steps LabWindows/CVI will update to match the langauge you have choosen.
