Problem: I have a certain version of Developer Suite, and I want to know what version of LabVIEW or other packaged NI software that I have a license to. Solution: The Developer Suite version is related to the year and quarter in which it was released. For example, DevSuite 8.2 was release in the 2nd quarter of 2008. The number before the decimal represents the year that version was released, and the portion after the decimal represents the quarter of release. Once you know when the DevSuite license was release, you can navigate to the Drivers and Updates page (see the related links below) and search for LabVIEW, TestStand, or another program name that is in question. After you search, you will see release date for each software version under the Release Date column for all of the search results. If the release date for a particular version is on or before the DevSuite release date, then the DevSuite would give you a license for that software version. If the released date of the software in question is after the release date of the DevSuite license, then the DevSuite would not give you a license to that version of that software in question.
