Error 50150 - Reboot USB 9162 after upgrading to DAQmx 8.7Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQmxPrimary Software Version: 8.7 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-9162
Problem: Immediately following an upgrade to DAQmx 8.7 and using a USB-9162, a user may see error 50150 when attempting to use the device until they restart Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) or reboot. The Found New Hardware Wizard may also prompt you to reboot. USB-9162 devices should not require a reboot after being installed. Solution: The workaround for error 50150 "unknown state" or Found New Hardware Wizard prompt to reboot is simply to reboot the computer. This issue is only related to the first installation of the USB-9162 after upgrading to DAQmx 8.7. Thus, the error will not reoccur after rebooting. Related Links: Attachments:
