Problem: When I monitor the temperature readings in Fieldpoint Explorer or Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), the temperature values seem fine. However, when a program using optomux commands accesses the module, the values returned are wrong. Why? Solution: The correct command to use when reading a FP-TC-120 scaled temperature value is !G. A common mistake is to use the L command instead which will yield incorrect results. This is discussed on page 38 of the programmer reference manual linked below.
