Simulation Translator Does Not Produce Any Files

Problem:
Whenever I try to translate my .mdl file into LabVIEW Simulation Module code using the Simulation Translator, it completes very quickly, yet does not create anything.  How can I fix this?

Solution:
This behavior is a known issue with older versions of the LabVIEW Simulation Module.  As of LabVIEW version 8.2, this behavior has been fixed.  The error was caused by the Simulation Translator code that parsed the .mdl file itself, incorrectly translating end of line constants.

If you are not able to upgrade to LabVIEW 8.2 or higher, you can run the attached vi.  It will open up a .mdl file that does not work and save a modified version of it that will work with the Simulation Translator.
