Cannot Launch Setup.exe Over the Network if Not Logged in to the Domain

Problem:

When I launch an installer located on the network I receive the error message:

Login Failure: Unknown User Name or Bad Password

My operating system is Microsoft Vista, and my machine is not in the domain of the network location.

Solution:

You must first login to the domain where setup.exe is located, or copy the installer to your disk drive.
