Problem: I have created a task that has more than 8 analog inputs. I can successfully open a test panel for all channels, but when viewing data in "Real-Time Data" view, only 8 channels seem to be working and the rest are grey and say "(No Data)". Solution: By default, only 8 of the channels are active. In order to activate the additional channels, you simply double click on all channels that are reporting "(No Data)" in order to activate them and they will appear in the Real-Time Data view.
