LabVIEW Test Executive 5.1 Returns Error when Running "Save Test Executive VI for Distribution" Utility

Problem: When using the Save Test Executive VI for Distribution utility (Project»Test Executive»Utilities), the LabVIEW Test Executive version 5.1 returns the following error message:

Error 1 occurred at Library Path Location.vi.

The utility then stops.

Solution: The problem most likely occurs because the VI you are trying to save links to an external subroutine file (.lsb) which is in a VI library. Usually, an external subroutine only ends up in a VI library if the VI which calls it has been saved as part of a Save with Options operation on the entire hierarchy.

The Save Test Executive VI for Distribution utility is meant to replace Save with Options for saving a Test Executive component (operator interface, callback, or test VI) for use with the Test Executive Run-Time System.

Therefore, the suggested action is: do not save the entire hierarchy of the VI with Save with Options before running this utility on the VI.
