How to Disconnect From Owning Library

Primary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Base Package
Primary Software Version: 8.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
How do I disconnect a VI from its owning library?

Solution:
Deleting or moving a LabVIEW library that has VIs being used in a project can cause linking errors. You may receive an error telling you that Your VI is at the expected path but is part of a library. Your VI will be opened but it will be removed from the project.

To continue to use the VI in your project you need to click Remove, select File»Disconnect From Library in the opened VI and then added the VI to you project again.
