“This Image Is Not Accessible Anymore” Error When Adding Image to Browser in Vision Assistant.Primary Software: Vision AssistantPrimary Software Version: 8.10 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: Why do I get an error message saying This image is not accessible anymore when trying to add an acquired image to the browser in Vision Assistant? Solution: Users must have full read/write access to certain folders in order to prevent this error. When the user adds an acquired image to the browser in Vision Assistant, the image is stored as a *.apd file in the Vision Assistant\temp directory. In order for Vision Assistant to add the file to the directory the user must have write access to the temp folder and many times this means the user must have Administrator access. Log into the computer as an Administrator and either run Vision Assistant from this profile or grant the end user write access to the temp folder. If you call Vision Assistant from Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) you need to have access to the Vision Builder AI\VAA\Temp folder.
