How do I Uninstall or Remove a Registered DataPlugin?

Problem:
I know that in order to install a DataPlugin, I can simply double-click on the *.uri file to register the DataPlugin with the DIAdem environment.  How can I reverse this process and remove a DataPlugin from my DIAdem environment?

Solution:
You must uninstall or remove a registered DataPlugin interactively via the DIAdem DataPlugin Settings dialog box.  In order to remove a DataPlugin, follow these steps:
  1. Within the DIAdem NAVIGATOR panel, select Settings » Options » Extensions » DataPlugins.
  2. Find and select the DataPlugin that you would like to remove from within the list.
  3. Select the Remove DataPlugin button and follow the prompts to remove a registered DataPlugin from your DIAdem environment.
