Using Measurement Studio .NET Controls in LabVIEW Causes LabVIEW to Crash

Problem: I install LabVIEW, and then I install Measurement Studio. When I try to use the Measurement Studio .NET controls in LabVIEW, LabVIEW crashes.

Solution: You can fix this issue by modifying your LabVIEW installation.

1. Select Start>>Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. In the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, select National Instruments Software and click Change.
4. In the National Instruments Software dialog box, select LabVIEW and click Modify.
5. The LabVIEW installer launches. Continue through the installer by clicking Next. You do not need to change any of the installed options. The installer installs a Measurement Studio part that fixes this issue.
