"Unsupported Module" in NI CompactDAQ

Problem: I have a C-Series module that detects as an
Unsupported Module in my cDAQ chassis. Why do I get this message?
Solution: There are several possible reasons:
- Your module is not supported. Consult the DAQmx ReadMe to see what modules are supported. Developer Zone: C Series Support in NI-DAQmx also has a list.
- You have a version of DAQmx that does not support your module. Refer to the ReadMe for your version of DAQmx to see which modules are supported.
- Select NI 9426 and NI 9475 modules need to be updated to support cDAQ.
First, ensure that you are using DAQmx 8.8 or later. Earlier versions of DAQmx did not support the NI 9475 or NI 9426 and will always detect the module as unsupported. If you are using DAQmx 8.8 or later, a limited number of modules shipped with an incorrect field in the EEPROM that DAQmx checks. DAQmx will not detect the module correctly in a cDAQ chassis with this EEPROM value. To update the EEPROM, please contact MIO.DAQ.PSEs@ni.com and reference this Knowledge Base. National Instruments will send you an executable to update the EEPROM. Note, NI Support does NOT have access to this executable and it must be received through the previously stated e-mail address.
Note: This EEPROM value is not used on other platforms so cRIO, EtherCAT and other platforms that support this module will not see detection issues.
- Bent or missing pins on the module and chassis can cause the modules to show up incorrectly. Check your module in different slots and try different modules.
