Problem: After running a self test on my PCI-1424 frame grabber board, it fails with the following error message: Scarab Test Fails When trying to acquire an image with the board, after a long wait it returns a pure black screen with the following error message: IMG_ERR_NEOM - There is not enough onboard memory to complete the requested operationWhat is wrong with my PCI-1424? Solution: The test failure may be caused by a corruption in the NI-IMAQ driver files on the PC. To resolve the issue, re-install the NI-IMAQ driver. Before re-installing the driver, please un-install the current driver by selecting Change on the National Instruments Software selection of Add/Remove Programs in Windows. If re-installing the driver does not resolve the issue, it is possible that the PCI bus slot for the board is damaged and data is not being passed properly. Try moving the board to other PCI slots on the PC. If you continue to experience problems with your board, the on-board memory of the frame grabber board may have been corrupted or damaged.
