Problem: Can multiple computers connect to an ethernet serial device (ENET-232 or ENET-485) at this same time? Solution: Your ethernet serial device will support multiple connections, provided that they are not attempting to open the same port at the same time. For example, if you open a HyperTerminal session for Port 1 on one computer, and then you attempt to connect to the same port from a different computer, you will receive an error; however, if you connect to Port 2 from the second computer, then the ethernet serial device will allow the connection.
