Outside Access to Internal Pattern-Matching TriggerHardware: Digital I/O (DIO), Digital I/O (DIO), Digital I/O (DIO)>>High-Speed, Digital I/O (DIO), Digital I/O (DIO)>>High-Speed>>PCI-6534, Digital I/O (DIO)
Problem: I am using a Pattern-Matching Trigger for my DIO application and would like to route the trigger signal on an I/O pin, is this possible? Solution: The answer is no. Pattern-Matching Trigger is used to internally generate a triggering signal upon matching or not matching a specific pattern called mask. This can be used in place of Digital Edge triggering, which just triggers acquisition or generation on a specific edge of a TTL signal. When Pattern-Matching Trigger is used, there is no way to route the internal trigger signal generated by the matched or non-matched patterns to one of the pins on the board.
