How Can I Connect Quater Bridge to NI9944 or NI9945 with NI-9237 on CompactRIO?Hardware: CompactRIO>>Analog Input Modules>>NI 9237
Problem: I physically connect a quater bridge to NI9944/9945 following the step in KnowledgeBase 47SGM5CY: NI 9945 or NI9944 with an NI 9237 Connection Guide. However, the reading still doesn't make sense on CompactRIO system. Do I have to configure anything in order to read the signal correctly? Solution: NI9944/9945 has a half-bridge circuit inside. Therefore, Half-Bridge Completion must be enabled in order to measure quater bridge with NI 9944 or NI 9945 on Compact RIO system correctly. Following below instruction to enable Half-Bridge Completion: 1. Right click on NI 9237 under FPGA or Chassis target 2. Select Properties from pull-down menu 3. Tick Enable Half-Bridge Completion on the channel connected to NI 9944 or NI 9945. Attached screenshot shows how to enable half-bridge completion.
