How Can I Use An Encrypted SystemBuild Model?Primary Software: MATRIXxPrimary Software Version: 7.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I wish to distribute my System Build model, but I do not wish to expose the diagram for that model. I have encrypted the model using the encrypt command (see related links), but how do I reference this in a simulation?Solution: To use this encrypted model in a simulation, you must create a file component reference to the component. First, you must add the encrypted file to the "Libraries" tree in Catalog Browser. To do so, use the following command in Xmath: setsbdefault {sblibs="test.enc"}Where test.enc is the name of your encoded file. The encrypted file should now appear under the Libraries Tree in the Catalog Browser. When you left click it, you should see your model listed in the right hand window. To create a ComponentReference block on another SuperBlock, simply drag and drop the model from the Catalog Browser.
